Discussion Main menu

Please please please stop making the Main menu so asset heavy. It takes my computer longer to work through all the damn animations there then any game of bg or regular ranked play.

You are killing me smalls.

literally ANY sort of menu is a laggy mess for me ever since the class set update. the app keeps freezing and crashing as well - unless i'm in a match. that is the only thing that doesn't lag

and my PC is very high spec so there is absolutely no way this should be happening. there isnt any high resource use either if i check the resource manager, it's quite bizarre

Doesnt matter if the game refuse to use the GPU or multithread

yeah that's what i was getting at. must be insanely poor optimization if a PC like mine is experiencing this kind of performance

It's weird that I don't have any problems, then. Even on my phone it's fine. I can't figure that out since I don't have a new one.

The game has certainly scaled to a point that the engine was never built to handle, though. They're probably still chugging along on a lot of the same code from over 10 years ago.

idk then, maybe it's a compatibility issue with certain hardware. i got an AMD CPU and an nvidia GPU - maybe the game has issues with the former? idk, can't really come up with any other explanation. i got the latest video drivers and directx version installed, can't really think of anything else that could cause this mess
