Other show suggestions
So I just finished like my 10th rewatch and I need something else to watch I and feel sad I can’t find something. I’ve seen virgin river, sweet magnolias, OTH, and a lot of other comparable shows. Is The OC worth watching since Rachel bilson is in it? I tried watching the first few mins of it and just couldn’t get into it. Ugh

the oc is amazing but the tone is extremely different, it definitely isn’t just fluffy. it’s closer to one tree hill. it’s grittier at times, you have to kind of give it two episodes though. the start of how ryan gets to newport is very different from the rest of the show and the main setting
friday night lights is great and has the guy who played george tucker as a lead. it’s kind of opposite of romanticizing a small town like blue bell but excellent show.
gilmore girls is the most obvious answer. my personal favorite is greek, i also really liked the carrie diaries.
to me, greek (2007) is the most similar in terms of tone and humor

If you don't mind subtitles Erkenci Kuş (Early Bird also called Day Dreamer) is Turkish show on YouTube . It is cute and most people binge watch once they start. It has more dramatic scenarios but a nice little romance in a quirky neighborhood.

“Sullivan’s crossing” has very similar vibes and it’s much better than virgin river

Have you watched Dawson's Creek? I'm enjoying it. But it can be kind of serious and dramatic. Hart of Dixie is so unique in that it's soapy but never turns dark or depressing. They need to make more shows like that!

Doctor Doctor (The Heart Guy in USA) and Offspring are great. I think I had to get a month of Acorn or Britbox or something to watch them but I think I've seen them on some of the free streaming sites more recently.
EDIT: I also recently saw a show called Good Karma Hospital. It is also a funny, fish-out-of-water show with heart.

Gilmore girls! Gives the same ‘small town vibe” but it’s quicker. And they use the same set so that makes it fun!

Best Medicine. It's a new show on FOX and it only has one season and was renewed for season 2. Reminds me of the Hart of Dixie small town charm so much.
