News Server Maintenance 12/23

Servers will be coming down tomorrow morning (12/23) at 3am for approximately 2 hours to address the following changes:

  • BattlEye had a few non-gameplay related issues which we want to address. We’re going to offline it to work those out and examine a lot of good data; it will be back soon.
  • Mittani helmets corrected
  • Tintable hoodies are again tintable
  • Hoodies now correctly hide hair
  • Some missing assets corrected

Dear DGC

I have a proposition ... ask reddit.com to do IQtest to post button ... we would have half of post to read... or maybe try to make the inscription "early alfa access" with the bigger letters.

You guys are doing really god job don't worry about complainers ... cause there will be some always... so work work work guys :) I want to play ;)

Oh and Merry Christmas :) hope that Santa Zombie will bring You the military backpack of presents :)

Although it is hard to read. He does make a point about people buying an alpha game, then complaining about "alpha" things happening.

Without an open communication platform like the Web, the world would be in bigger shit than it currently is.

Let people talk about whatever the fuck they want, including excessive complaining about a sub-par gaming development company.

The decision on whether to read such material lies with OP :p

I just don't get how people can say they are being sub-par? The game is still in early development and they have a ton of things to work on. I've played a TON of survival games to date and the developers of H1Z1 seem to get more things right than most of the other developers.

Please just need to realize that this game is still in Alpha (Not beta or full release).
