News Server Maintenance 12/23

Servers will be coming down tomorrow morning (12/23) at 3am for approximately 2 hours to address the following changes:

  • BattlEye had a few non-gameplay related issues which we want to address. We’re going to offline it to work those out and examine a lot of good data; it will be back soon.
  • Mittani helmets corrected
  • Tintable hoodies are again tintable
  • Hoodies now correctly hide hair
  • Some missing assets corrected

I just got h1z1 and installed it, my brother has had it on this computer and it runs fine so i dont think its a problem with my computer, but he hasnt played in like 2 weeks. I updated it and created an account, and the launcher started, but when i clicked the big red play button, it popped up saying BattleEye initializing _ and made thousands of h1z1_BE.exe's run all at once and none actually downloaded it. is this the issue you are addressing? I restarted my computer, disabled antivirus and everything, did all the stuff in support, just curious if i should keep looking or if this will be fixed.

with that issue alot of us =]KK[= have found you need to close the game a few times before it allows you in...
