Any ETA/update on the new grenade? Thanks in advance!

What new grenade, all the grenades you could ever want are in the game already :P

amen this game has enough grenades already. Wish they left the original deck in the game and made the taller stairless deck a separate thing. No reason we shouldn't be able to choose really

The deck isn't any taller then it used to be, from my testing it behaves the same as it always has. With a bit of fiddling you can make it place higher than normal.

How do you place it higher? I've seen some people with like decks that you can park a car under, whereas mine are always low hanging and you can't walk under unless you are crouching.

You can place something like a basic shack and "clip" the deck over the top and then remove the shack.

basic shack is out of the game

I's very much still in, the Metal Shed was removed.

I'll have to find the screen shot I took last night when I get home comparing the two. There is deff a difference. I can stand on a jeep next to a deck now and still not be taller than the deck, this was not the case before the change

Already one post on here about a guy who says bases in test are becoming unraidable because you can build a deck base and then remove the stairs leaving anyone outside no way to reach the gate to get in without placing a set of stairs or ramp. he took screens to prove his point

that guy is a crybaby. Smart people will figure out a way.

I know nothing is "unraidable" but I see his point. Its a flaw and should be fixed. Same with floating shelters, while they are cool to build bases with they shouldn't be possible

Well, on deadwood we built a floating shelter, it somehow got raided. They blew the shelter leaving just the contents inside and the outside door, Im not sure how they did this and didnt damage anything inside at all though, even the door was at full health after the shelter was gone.....

fly on top, use IED

or throw grenades on top, repeat. There are ways, most of which involve cheating but yeah floating shelters need to be fixed. If there is nothing under it to support it then it should simple break apart. Destroying a lower level should destroy the level above as well, easy fix

I agree. Ive always thought we should have to build a support (similar to stairs) to place shelters on if we dont want anything under them, might make building bases less material waste too because then I would be able to save that shelter. Also the game has no physics though, which just leaves stuff floating in the air so they would have to fix that first. Floating boxes annoy me :)

The deck in that screenshot was likely one that was forced to place higher than normal.

You can place something like a basic shack and "clip" the deck over the top and then remove the shack.

The one in my screenshot at home was not built that way and is still taller than the old one. Maybe not THAT taller nonetheless

My complaint and reason for wanting both options in the game is nothing to do with height anyway, its the fact that I can't attach stairs or a ramp to a deck on top of a foundation with a wall around it. Even though there is room to fit the stairs next to my deck I can't place them and now I can't use the base design I like. The ramp not fitting im fine with but not having the stairs makes no sense and I don't see a use for a ground tamper if I can't put a deck inside it

I know Paul posted that not being able to attach stairs or ramps onto a deck that is on top of a tamper was a known issue and they were trying to fix it, nothing to do with the walls.

Last I heard they may have fixed it but don't quote me.
