SPOILERS Owen

He can be hated on too much, what are some of his good moments?

I thought he was a very great friend to Cristina in season 10.

Owen gets remembered for his worst decisions but he was genuinely a loyal friend to Cristina when she needed one in Season 10.

Owen should get behind me !

1/He noticed George's and April's abilities and supported them even though they were self conscious and were mostly treated less or as a joke by the rest .

2/Remember when he first came to the hospital and scolded them for fighting over the dying patient saying they have no repect (only Bailey did as well) which was about time someone said it . He also told the chief he was considering not staying only because of this .

3/I don't fully remember what did mark , Derek and Owen argue about when he came as well and Derek and Mark made a small team to go and do a ' GOTCHA ' moment to him about a patient and they ran to him like kids , he said " how can i get better ?" And they were astonished they didn't know what to say , they thought he was gonna be defensive and awkward , but he was a mature doctor .

4/When the 1st surgeory was taken from Cristina and she had to pick someone to do it instead , no one cared about her feelings even though she was clearly devestated , even that autistic doctor saw it , with Merdith telling her " you didn't pick me for the 1st surgeory because you made it personal "  , Owen saw that and stood by her , and tried to help keeping her composed in front of them at leadt because he understood she values her dignity.

5/ Kept a distance to not hurt her again after the PTSD thing.

I love him , even though I know he has bad moments .

i think he stapled a wound up and they tried to criticise him for possible nerve damage and a scar

and he was like "my experience is field trauma, how can i be better" loved that

oh and honestly him punching that aggressive patient is brilliant.

He's shown to be a great surgeon both in the operating room and on the field and is a great dad.

He supported veterans who wanted to die on their own terms.

But then he broke up with Teddy for doing the exact same thing, apparently the writers forgot about that storyline.

I hate him but I can acknowledge that he was a good mentor to April and really helped her break out of her shell when she was the underdog and struggled to be taken seriously.

Would i date Owen?

Probably not. I mean maybe now. Hee got his kids ive got mine he probably won't pressure me to have more and he is a very supportive and caring dad

Would i be his friend? Hell yeah. He's a good guy to have in your corner

Would I want him to be my boss? Yeah sure he's a good leader

If I was bleeding on the side of the road with the rest of my family trapped inside the car he'd be who I would want to see driving by

He wasn't an outright bad person. He was a really good teacher, mentor and chief (compared to the rest anyway).

He was just a good awful man when it came to his love life and his world views. Similarly to Callie, if you didnt agree with him, you were a villain.
