We were on my phone watching the live cam at the dog daycare for 75% of our honeymoon 😂

You can always call him. I used to call my dog and she would start searching for me. She never really got the phone thing.

We’re getting new floors and moved into an air bnb yesterday for two weeks. I fought HARD to find a pet friendly place but my husband said it would be too stressful. He was right but I miss my little jerks.

I was studying abroad over the summer and Mercury didn’t even look at me. We’d try to face time but he’d look at the screen and turn his head.
When I got home though… we had the longest hug. I also got a professional ear cleaning during the hug. He then got down and laid down. Needless to say when I got up, he always followed to make sure I never left his side again.
I never did until the end.

I just went through this. I went out west to visit my daughter and left Josie at home with my husband. She is MY dog so she missed me a lot even though she was home with him. He said she just moped around the house and sat in my chair most of the time. I missed her terribly too. You would not believe the welcome home I got when I walked in the door after being gone a week. I thought she might faint from excitement. Jumping, barking, howling, zooming all around the house, jumping up on me licking me and zooming around the house again. It went on for a solid 20 minutes. I’ve never had a dog that got THAT excited about me walking in the door. I was absolutely hilarious. She’s the best! Just wait!!!
