Advice/Help Puppy won’t come in after walksj
Our great pyr rescue puppy is 10 months old and for the most part is a great puppy.
Shes become very difficult when it’s time to come inside from a walk especially at night or after a fun walk. She will plop down and won’t move..sometimes i let it go but other times i have to be somewhere. I’ll throw treats or say “touch” or even walk away and she’ll eventually come.
She gets very aggressive if i try to lift her butt or gently pull the leash. She will bite the air, growl, try to get out of her leash. Today she nipped at me and got me pretty good but not enough to break skin. The behavior has escalated pretty badly. It’s also quite embarrassing for neighbors to see her acting this way.
Appreciate any and all advice!

You’ve entered the Pyr TRex stage : 6mo - 3yr.
The only way I was able to train my Pyr to listen is consistent immersion training.
On top of that, Pyrs feel a natural instinct to be outdoors. They’re bred for it.
Additionally, your Pyr may not have enough ‘work’ to do, and they’re looking for some.
