Funhaus Video UNKNOWN SOLDIERS - PUBG Gameplay with Adam and Bruce

I'm gonna go for the low-hanging fruit here and say that Adam is a master baiter.
And Bruce reminds me a lot of Captain Price leading Adam on a stealth mission through this game. He's all like "hold your fire, let 'em pass" and running between cover. I love it.

The whole game is like that when I play with my friend and it's so much fun. After you play so much, you quickly learn risk-reward scenarios and can gauge if it'll be worth it.
Seriously love the game, despite how shittily it runs.

Always fun to see them play games that they're passionate about. You do you, Bruce.

This game reminds me of Dunkirk because you hear a lot of shit but you never see where it's from and your best hope is to not die (but you will probably still die).

your best hope is to not die (but you will probably still die).
a 99% probability in solos!
~97% in duos and squads.

Honestly this game is so hit or miss with me. 99% of the time it's like making out with a girl at a party, getting her to come back to your place, and then finishing in your pants as you get to your bed.

Why are the YouTube comments for this video filled with absurd hatred for PUBG?
I mean, the game has flaws, but it's still early access. Also, it doesn't mean that Funhaus shouldn't be allowed to play it.

Because it's cool to hate things that are popular.

It's possible to dislike things without decrying them as terrible and calling the people who like those things idiots. People who say they don't like something and explain why are just sharing their opinion - which is great. People who actively shit on what others like in an attempt to belittle them are doing it because they're arrogant.

TBH i hadn't read the comments before replying cause i tought it wouldnt be that bad but now after watching the video and the comments good lord.
"Oh for fucks sake, this game sucks. Please don't play it anymore. It's glorified crap" and it also has almost 300 likes, im cool with him not liking it but asking them to not play it anymore cause he doesnt like it its fucking retarded

They should get Noahj456 to teach them how to play it properly. Still fun to watch them struggle tho.

What would be the fun in that?

It could be a comedic video with Master NoahJ teaching his students, Bruce and Adam.
He could teach them the art of stealth, how to flow like water, the power of being fluid and nearly silent, the art of a gun touting ninja. Bruce would play NoahJ's prized honor student pupil sucking up to his master every chance he got, he succeeds but is arrogant and overly bold. He's is esisnitally Leonardo from Ninja Turtles. Adam stars as the klutz, no English speaking, bad luck having simpleton holding them back with a heart of gold, but when he wins he wins BIG. He's essentially a mix between Fez from That 70's Show and Andy from Twin Peaks. Could be a great sitcom.

I'd like to see them play popular games in serious mode i.e. minimal joking with more serious gameplay. This game could be a good fit for that.

Isnt that what Esports Rejects is? haven't seen it yet but from what i've heard its just them actually playing overwatch seriously

How come they don't use first person? Do they realise it exists?
Edit: I'm not trying to be a dick I'm wondering if they know they can switch perspectives.

Looks like 3rd person is better to use since you can see around corners while hiding behind them

u/Neilfallon Aug 20 '17
Yeah but there was parts where bruce's crosshair was blocked by his character model where first person would have helped him aim. Also a bunch of weird angles where first person would help.

You gotta be switching between them

I empathize with Adam on this one. I'm not trying to bash on Bruce, but he was holding Adam back big-time.
I don't know what's up with these videos, but they always feel like their sponsored videos but Funhaus doesn't say anything about them being sponsored. It looked like Adam wanted to "get mad" at Bruce but he was stopping himself kind of like when they don't say negative things about their sponsors.
Kudos to Adam though. If I was playing with someone like Bruce and they weren't letting me shoot, made me die, got in a car and drove away, made it seem like he was sacrificing himself when actually he just wanted to get a head start ahead of me, commanded me, taken all the good gear, forcing me to do boring shit, etc, I would've stopped playing immediately.
Anyway there's my two cents on the matter. I understand this is Reddit and criticism won't be tolerated under any circumstances so I'm ready for the downvotes.

There was one time at the end where Bruce said not to shoot, where Adam could/should have, but I don't think Bruce realized he had a suppressed weapon.
Otherwise, it was very standard and even good play in pubg. Bruce was a good leader.

u/MrKuub Aug 21 '17
So I take it you've never played pubg?
3
u/VHSCopyOfGoodFellas Aug 21 '17
I have, multiple times. And I played h1z1 and day z which are all basically the same game. But it's obvious that Adam wanted to do more

I had a major déjà vu moment when Adam was down and crawling toward a door and waiting for Bruce to open it
