Places hiring immediately?

I just moved to Friendswood after getting out of a bad situation. I don't have a car but I have someone to stay with.

I've been looking everywhere for a job in walking distance but I am getting hit with constant rejections. For reference, I'm very near to the Kroger on 151 N Friendswood. I've tried to Kroger, I've tried Walgreens, the businesses all near me in walking distance, but nothing. I'm not picky at all, I will work literally anywhere that hires me.

I do have a degree in Communication but it's been useless. I've got experience in some social media marketing but jobs for that are completely dry. I also have experience in retail, I've worked at a car rental place and a liquor store. I'm pretty desperate at this point if anyone has any ideas. Thank you

Do you have a laptop? I’m needing an assistant for marketing admin stuff for my salon in Friendswood. I’m totally cool with someone working from home and getting the tasks done.

Join the Friendswood Moms and Dads Facebook page and ask there too. And the Friendswood Moms page. There are women likely to try help because of your situation.

Look up managed labor solutions (MLS) , they have lots of entry level stuff to get you in the door somewhere. I got in at enterprise through them and within a couple weeks got into a different and better position more commensurate with my experience.
