It’s such a great outlook and I think of Gordon and his way of looking at that anytime I’ve experienced any type of homophobia (not very often thankfully). It’s a great way to weed out jerks and ppl you don’t want in your life.

Gordon’s ability to be positive and supportive make him a great member of the Geek squad. When Sam is wearing the jumpsuit, he speaks in French to Sam, as he’s teasing him, “Ooh la la!” He’s just a good kid.

It’s so true! We spend so much of our youthful years trying to be someone we’re not to try and impress people. The truth is that if they don’t like you for you, they’re not the one for you. He figured it out early!

It's sad that the actor is going through personal and medical issues in real life. I wish him nothing but the best and hope that's he's getting the support that needs. His character and that show has brought me joy every time I do a rewatch.

I know the actor faced some tragedy and is in a tough spot. However, I would have loved a spinnoff where Gordon discovers Usenet in college and becomes a god.

Well, with my allergies, my sense of smell is pretty much nonexistent 90% of the time, so I think I’d be fine being friends with him 😂

Gordon is a very supportive friend, as well. He repeatedly tells Sam that he’s a catch. He’s one of the secondary characters that makes you smile. And this is Gordon-adjacent, in that it’s really a Bill story, but it still makes me laugh when Bill calls Coach Fredericks and pretends to be Gordon’s dad, as Coach Fredericks is watching Diff’rent Strokes and eating ice cream on his couch.
