Fish Rehoming

Anyone know of a fish store or group or whatever that helps re-home Common Plecos? Called a handful of stores and no joy yet.

Not sure if you called Exotic Aquatic, but Rob’s a good guy and may take it off your hands.

I did, but I never got a call back.

I’d try again. Since Rob isn’t there all the time, perhaps ask next time he is expected in and call back then.

I would put them up for free on marketplace. Please do not release into wild.

Tried that, no movement in over a week.

I wild cull them humanely. They are excessive, unwanted, and need to be removed from our ecosystem. If you catch one it is illegal to put it back.

I know, I'd never release. I'm just trying to avoid having to euthanize it over a mislabeled purchase a couple years ago.

I feel you, maybe you can ask a zoo of sorts if they want plecos for a pond?
