I hope that's ok to post here.

I agree it’s odd that we didn’t have a south Florida food community in Reddit. I just created one called r/foodsoflo if you want to jump in there. Literally started it last week.

The problem with both subreddits mentioned here so far, and in general, is when you say Fort Lauderdale, you get Broward.
I only care about east of 95 from Sunrise to Cypress, Fort Lauderdale proper; I’m not going to Coconut Creek or Davie unless it’s an occasion and I don’t get to choose because I’m meeting a group.
I’d be driving by 5 terrific places to get to another terrific place.

What are you on about? Ft lauderdale is quite a bit bigger than that by city limits, and even logically youve left out Ft Lauderdale's most famous and iconic neighborhoods. Sunrise to cypress is north Ft.Lauderdale, Ft Lauderdale Proper goes all the way from Davie to East Mcnab. Your idea of "proper fort Lauderdale", excludes Las olas, downtown, The museum of science and the theater, as well as 2nd Street and a huge portion of fort Lauderdale beach.
Heres a map pulled straight from the Ft Lauderdale Official wiki FTL map

There are not 5 terrific places in all of Broward county. Calm down, Beth.
