Fort Lauderdale Ghost Tours
has anyone done any of the ghost tours around the city? (who’s a native here)
looking for a good one that’s not the same stuff you see and visit normally on an everyday basis
my boyfriend and i currently live in old city so would we be wasting our time going to one that is touring the same sites and streets we walk pretty much everyday?
we both have never been on one so we’re not sure what to expect but figured we might find a fun one
let me know!!!

Take a tour of Broward Health! People die in hospitals all the time and it’s overlooked by the ghost tour enthusiasts.

And if you want to witness something that will make you scream, going to the bathrooms. I promise you'll be screeching at the top of your lungs.

Really no ghost tours down here except Stranahan House . I’m not sure if they still offer tours so best to check their website.

We actually did a “ghosts and gangsters” walking tour. The guide also does NOLA tours. It was quite fun and ended at Capone’s bar in Ft. Laud.

I always love seeing what tourists and transplants call different areas of Ft Lauderdale. i'm a native and I don't know anyone that calls any part of Ft Lauderdale "old city" which i'm assuming is near sailboat or the BCPA area.

I've had some excellent ghost tours -- Savannah and NOLA stand out -- but if there is one here in FTL, I am unaware of it.

There’s one guy who apparently is great for the ghost tour he’s i believe Scottish. My tour guide was awful. He was sick as all hell. And when i contacted the company several times they never responded so i put a stop payment from my cc. It was that bad. I have never done that before but the price didn’t reflect the experience provided at all.

There are ghost tours held at the New River Inn. Check out the History Ft. Lauderdale website

This is just my personal opinion and others are obviously free to enjoy whatever they choose: ghost tours are dumb to begin with, and FTL is not particularly known for a history of ghostly sightings.

I'm not a believer but I've been on some cool ghost tours for entertainment and history. St. Augustine, Seattle underground for example . But I've lived here my entire life and have never heard of one.

See I get that at least. St. Augustine has a ton of history for that. Savannah, Charleston SC, and plenty of other cities are known for it. It’s not for me, but there’s some places for it that make more sense.

That’s not a thing here, forget about it and do something we are known for. Boat cruise, happy hours by the beach, ocean lounging/swimming, etc.
