Looking for quintessential 4th of July bash

I’m going to be visiting from Canada early July and wanted to find the most quintessential American 4th of July celebration in the area. I’m talking about parades, pie eating contests, carnival, etc.

Lauderdale By The Sea.

They host a pretty cool Independence Day parade and event.

Sounds like you are asking for what you see in the movies. If you find it, let us know

Damn straight. I recognize that it might be a bit played out at this point, but it’s always been one of those things that I wanted to take part in just once.

Is there no longer the party on the beach? I remember years ago The Beach Boys played on the beach. That was a good time.

Las Olas Oceanside Park

No parade but events/music at the Loop and fireworks on the water.
