Eating vegetables from burning steamer pot

I accidentally let the water over boil on my stainless steel steamer and burnt the bottom of the pot below the basket with the holes. The vegetables weren’t burnt but they did have a slight burnt taste on the on the outside I assume from the steam and burnt particles coming from the bottom. How bad is this
