General Question Boiled Chicken Problems

I bought a bag of frozen chicken breasts yesterday and accidentally left it out for a few hours so it thawed completely but it was still very cold just not frozen. Since it was thawed I put it in the fridge to cook the next day. When I opened the bag the chicken was covered in slimy substance but the chicken itself wasn't slimy and didnt really smell bad or anything so I boiled it, actually over boiled it for maybe 40 minutes because whenever I checked on it it was rubbery and I thought it was under cooked ( I usually dont boil chicken ). Anyway it still doesn't smell bad but has that weird texture and I am worried it might have gone bad without me realizing. I was planing to re cook it later with this sauce mix I bought.

not safe at all

Perishable food should not be in the danger zone(40f to 140f) more than 2 hours if cooking or saving for later (1 hour above 90f) or 4 hours if consuming and tossing. Source

I assure you I am a zoologist and birds like crows have stomachs that are made to eat old cadavers they are biological designed to eat rotting flesh. Also the food didn't really have any spices it was just boiled chicken
