Garmin/Fitness Tracker Trends

I am an absolute Garmin data nerd, love all the stats I get from my watch. To the point that I knew I was pregnant before I tested positive from the change in some of my stats. So, I’m intrigued as I get closer to my due date if others noticed any changes the closer they got to indicate they would be going into labour soon? Appreciate watching the data and obsessing won’t help me be calm but I’m intrigued.

Whoop did a study that found HRV starts to rise at 7 weeks prior to birth! I’m not sure what Garmin tracks but this could be something to look for as you get closer.

Study linked under the “The research behind the feature” section: https://www.whoop.com/us/en/thelocker/understanding-pregnancy-with-groundbreaking-new-research-and-pregnancy/

This is super interesting, thank you!

...But at the same time, my RHR has decreased slightly and my HRV has been increasing, both for the past month. I'm only in my second trimester, so I'm guessing it's more that my allergies have improved a little lol. I wonder if the pre-labor inflection point will be easy to see or if it'll get lost in the noise of seasonal allergies striking again in fall.

Same as you, I’ve really enjoyed seeing the garmin data, especially when I thought I had a pretty decent sleep, only to look at the morning stats for my watch to be like “sike bitch, your sleep score is 24 and body battery is 33”.

All I've heard about is the potential connection between HRV going up and labor. I'm 32 weeks tomorrow and my HRV has just started to go up over the last few days so I'm waiting to see if it keeps going up and see when I go into labor. I'm very curious if I follow the Whoop data about HRV and labor.
