Their curly fries are S tier.

83

u/jealous-guidance1977 9h ago

All of their sides are S tier. Their gyros 🥙 r great too!

40

u/JigglesTheBiggles 9h ago

They're really underrated. I was shocked at how much meat they pack in there when I first tried it.

6

u/therealjgreens 3h ago

Every single place is dependent on if the store is run well. Most restaurants are ran like shit. I don't even know what fresh mcds tastes like.

2

u/ActionQuinn 2h ago

Very true! I work next to a location that has always been awesome and they recently got a full remodel. You know what happened? They got awesome er

2

u/therealjgreens 2h ago

It has to be near some really nice neighborhoods

13

u/EliteJoz 8h ago

That's what I wish women said about me. I'll have to settle for Arbys bringing back the pecan chicken salad.

5

u/Bcatfan08 7h ago

They used to have loaded potato bites that were really good. Wish they'd bring them back.

2

u/ActionQuinn 2h ago

HELL yeah

3

u/Johnny_Bizzle 3h ago

When did Arby’s start doing gyros?

3

u/balls_throwaway69420 3h ago

They’ve been a permanent menu item for like ten years now

2

u/SmoothPop2611 2h ago

Brother where you been ?

1

u/jealous-guidance1977 2h ago

Long time ago

7

u/awesomface 7h ago

I put them as A or S- only because I think Jack in the Box makes a slightly better curly fry, or at least I like the seasoning better. Arby’s is great all around, though. Very slept on

10

u/Big-Sheepherder-6134 9h ago

A tier is the highest I go. The curly fries are pretty good. I have some frozen ones at home right now. I have a soft spot for potato cakes dipped in the au jus.

4

u/ODYY_TOASTED 9h ago

And chocolate shakes too!

8

u/insanity2brilliance 7h ago

And their orange creamsicle shakes when in season.

1

u/Fangsong_37 6h ago

I like getting their honey mustard to dip my curly fries.

1

u/smokeyser 7h ago

They used to be. Lately it seems like someone used the bags to play catch. All I get is one or two curly fries and a bunch of broken ends that get too crispy and have none of the fluffy potato goodness inside.

80

u/AboveBoard 9h ago

Y'all to harsh on Arby's. The peach cobbler roll they have going is killer. Get yourself a double beef and cheddar; it's surprisingly substantial!

21

u/rekipsj 8h ago

I think it was a Simpsons callback.

6

u/JparkPHX 7h ago

This. And followed up by one of the kids saying something along the lines of “oh wow she is hungry”

1

u/jonasty1313 2h ago

It was the episode when the were trapped on an island. Making fun of Lord of the Flies.

4

u/countrybear78 9h ago

I agree.

2

u/Common_Wrongdoer3251 6h ago

I ordered a Beef n Cheddar yesterday and it was... wrong. It was like they put some other type of meat on there that tasted similar but the texture was way thicker...

Usually the roast beef is so thin you could eat it without teeth. This was like, pulled pork or something...

... and I still ate it. Love me some Arby's.

1

u/Certain_Elderberry57 3h ago

You probably got their pulled pork by mistake, that's their promotion right now.

1

u/labenset 2h ago

The peach cobbler thing is good but it's so tiny.

Mozzarella sticks are so damn good dipped in horsey sauce.

One of the best things Arby's does is have horsey and Arby's sauce on tap with their ketchup so if you dine in you can go to town

36

u/clapmeup69 9h ago

Their Mozza sticks are the best in the fast food realm.

5

u/Jesse1205 4h ago

Hard agree. When I'm craving a mozzarella stick it's Arby's that I'm thinking of. I've not had one that has even come close tbh, more people need to batter their cheese sticks.

2

u/PostMatureBaby 9h ago

I've asked here what they were and I think the consensus was McCain makes them under their Golden Crisp label or something. Never seen them in a frozen section but it's possible it's made by them as a private label brand as well.

1

u/No_Ambassador6102 3h ago

They are def top tier fast food cheesesticks. If youre ever around a “Cookout” their cheese curds are personally my favorite. Highly recommend

-3

u/Impossible-Two559 9h ago

White Castle has better ones, but there’s a good chance you don’t have a White Castle anywhere near you.

0

u/smokeyser 7h ago

That's interesting. I always go straight to the fish nibblers and never bothered with their mozzarella sticks. That's definitely going to be in the next order.

-10

u/tastydrink1 9h ago edited 9h ago

Ive always shouted white castle but don't eat Arby's. I dont trust anything Arby's related lol but idk i guess I could try their sticks

2

u/Impossible-Two559 9h ago edited 8h ago

Arby’s really isn’t bad. It’s their own fault they have a bad rep though. Up until 10 years or so ago, 98% of their marketing was about their roast beef. The roast beef is not very good (especially where I live because we have a regional fast food chain that has significantly better).

Their fries are amazing, the cheese sticks are really good, their Reuben is surprisingly good for fast food, as is the Greek gyro. The fish sandwiches are just as good as other fast food. The cordon bleu sandwich and mac n cheese are pretty good too.

0

u/Ok_Tadpole1661 4h ago

They stand up to most restaurant moz sticks too

3

u/Sweatwethers 6h ago

Call me crazy but I love dipping their mozzarella sticks in their Branco berry sauce. It’s the sauce they give you with their jalapeño poppers.

4

u/Big-Sheepherder-6134 9h ago

I wish Arby’s let the customers have au jus on tap like Lion’s Choice Roast Beef does (St. Louis area chain).

6

u/PostMatureBaby 9h ago

Hook it up to the drink machine for some carbonated beef refreshments

-2

u/Big-Sheepherder-6134 8h ago

Kind of a bad reflection on Arby’s that you have to rely on sauces for the actual food to taste good, right? Would you eat a roast beef or cheese stick there with nothing on it?

9

u/PostMatureBaby 8h ago edited 8h ago

I'm what you'd consider a "wet guy" i want the slop/gravy/sauce/goo/etc. on all the things. I have no issues eating that stuff as it's given to me.

Fries are best in mayo, imo so i want the horsey sauce to dip in as well.

isn't that a lot of fast food though? without condiments it's usually worse

Also, sometimes it's part of it. Even the most quality piled high smoked meat sandwich at the best deli ever still requires Keen's hot mustard

7

u/smokeyser 7h ago

Dry sandwiches are sad. I wouldn't eat a roast beef sandwich anywhere with nothing on it.

2

u/kursa_sucks 6h ago

What bad logic. So you don’t eat at Taco Bell? You raw dog ur French fries? Do you get a burger plain?

0

u/Big-Sheepherder-6134 5h ago

You ever eat Texas BBQ? It comes unsauced so you can taste the meat, the rub and the smoke. I seen people dump sauce on it without thinking to try it first. Not very bright.

2

u/potliquorz 8h ago

Your reply makes no sense if intended to be a response to the obvious joke.
Enjoy your twenty dollar sandwich btw.

1

u/smokeyser 7h ago

It really does make their beef sandwiches better. I found something even better than that when whipping up a late night snack to soak up alcohol one night, though. Maruchan chili ramen! Something about that spicy broth just meshes perfectly with the roast beef. It's way better for dipping than their au jus. Now I usually grab an extra sandwich at Arby's to take home just for that purpose.

53

u/CommanderShepard_N-7 9h ago

Arby’s is the shit imo. Nothing beats a beef & cheddar with curly fries and some extra Arby’s sauce.

8

u/fire_water_drowned 9h ago

The sauce on a Beef and Cheddar is red ranch. I always order some extra on the side to dip my sandwich and fries in.

7

u/CommanderShepard_N-7 9h ago

Dam I never realized that lol. I thought it was Arby’s sauce on the sandwich. Now I’m gonna have to try the red ranch with fries

1

u/Uhavetabekiddingme 3h ago

Beef and cheddar with horseradish is great.

0

u/CommanderShepard_N-7 3h ago

That sounds pretty good. People also sleep on the chicken, bacon and Swiss.

115

u/BoogieMayo 9h ago

Arbys was never bad. Its like hating on nickelback just to go along with the joke

37

u/idontevenliftbrah 9h ago

What an accurate analogy

3

u/zgillet 8h ago

Except Nickelback is actually bad.

14

u/AztecGravedigger 7h ago

Nickelback is not any worse than any of the other million mediocre bands of that time, but they got 10x the hate because they became a punch line and it was fun to join in.

2

u/mrsardo 5h ago

Victims of their success perhaps. I don’t like their music, or the other similar bands that were around at the time. But at this point in human history, I don’t think I could name another band like that besides Nickleback.

1

u/Homework_Happy 2h ago

Creed is a close second. Mark Tremonti saves them though. I’m not a huge fan but he has some iconic riffs

1

u/gnelson321 3h ago

Look at this photgraaaaaph. Every time I do it makes me laugh.

I don’t know. It’s pretty bad. And I’ll admit, I listened to Creed back in the day. Sometimes you grow up and realize that certain bands suck ass.

-2

u/zgillet 5h ago

They were worse than ALL of the other SUCCESSFUL rock bands of that time.

That's a BIG difference. It's the success that was baffling and made fun of. They should be a footnote to a footnote.

-9

u/BingoB0i 9h ago

Hating nickelback was/is still valid

26

u/JigglesTheBiggles 9h ago

No gonna lie, I liked them. The music was catchy.

7

u/idontevenliftbrah 9h ago

Go watch them cover Metallica and still say that

-13

u/shadow1a2t 9h ago

idk man, i went maybe 2 months ago and it was pretty bad.

i agree with everyone else though that the poppers and mozz sticks are great but meh on everything else

6

u/Brightcab 9h ago

This is curly fry erasure.

-13

u/tastydrink1 9h ago

Its definitely bad, Arby's is the worst smelling fast food establishment. Mcdonalds, bk, Wendy's for starters you can walk in and its at least cafeteria smell but Arby's has the rank delicatessen smell. I didnt like it as a kid

41

u/JucheSuperSoldier01 9h ago

I hate Arbys slander. Most of the time its from people who've never been there.

8

u/BrittaUnfiltered67 8h ago

About Arby’s, I have been to really good ones and really really bad ones. Most fast food is only as good as how the local franchise holder treats, trains, pays, and schedules their staff, plus special modifiers for really good cooks with exceptional work ethics.

1

u/bitnode 7h ago

I can't say I've found any good ones in Minnesota, when I do decide to try it again once a year the fries are always soggy and over-fried somehow.

1

u/JucheSuperSoldier01 2h ago

I've had slightly cold curly fries but I have never seen soggy curly fries. Maybe Arbys really is shit outside of my state (Ohio).

1

u/JakBos23 6h ago

Who the hell eats fast food and hasn't been to Arby's?

1

u/Totes_mc0tes 3h ago

I've never seen a single person eat at Arbys. Even the ones in mall food courts I've never seen a person at the counter

12

u/Acids 8h ago

Arbys gets too much hate for no reason.

0

u/JakBos23 6h ago

They gave me food poisoning once. That's a pretty good reason. Lol they gave me like 10 coupons for free meal after that. My sister loved them.

1

u/Acids 6h ago

Then you went to bad spot every place has a bad spot

0

u/Caprice42 2h ago

Bro, there are plenty of reasons. Why do you think its a popular topic?

10

u/Big-Sheepherder-6134 9h ago

Every time I see food taken home it breaks my heart at how much better it would have been at the restaurant (or immediately in the car).

9

u/Born-Let1907 8h ago

The air fryer era has rescued us from disappointment in ff leftovers.

2

u/Shower__Farts 7h ago

It really as. I had extra potato cakes last time I went. The air fryer brought those right back to life. Obviously not as good fresh, but close.

8

u/BrittaUnfiltered67 8h ago

Wow, she really is hungry…

25

u/Santa_Hates_You 9h ago

13

u/Issac-Cox-Daley 9h ago

I appreciate the use of a meme from the same episode.

2

u/Stock-Mission-7561 5h ago

Perfectly cromulent

13

u/Serious-Piccolo-8076 9h ago

Jalapeno Bites with Broncoberry Sauce! 😋

2

u/Zmoney641 2h ago

My favorite thing there

2

u/Sweatwethers 6h ago

I love dipping their mozzarella sticks in that sauce.

1

u/Serious-Piccolo-8076 6h ago

I'll have to try that! I think Broncoberry would taste great on just about anything!

2

u/Sweatwethers 6h ago

It’s a solid dipping sauce.

6

u/King-Doge-VII 4h ago

Super underrated fast food.

16

u/bn25168 9h ago

Oh my god you REALLY were hungry!

5

u/Big-Sheepherder-6134 9h ago

Love that scene!

4

u/rubrent 8h ago

I never used to want Arby’s until I started adding Arby’s AND horsey sauce to my beef n cheddars. Now I crave it.

4

u/nookshooks 7h ago

Once again, Arby’s gets the hate that White Castle deserves.

6

u/Grungy_Mountain_Man 9h ago edited 9h ago

I used to really like arbys. The last couple of times I went, I had to admit to myself this isn't as good as I rememberd. I don't know if the quality has gone done, or my taste have just changed.

6

u/dwts16 9h ago

Quality has gone down and their prices are ridiculous now for what you get.

2

u/Over_Sand7935 7h ago

Agreed!!!! Plus sitting in a warmer forever. Last 3-4 visits to Arby's has been a disappointment. Maybe it's just the locations here -

1

u/dwts16 7h ago

Its not just your locations. Been to one in town and went on a little road trip with the GF last Fall and that one sucked too. Was right by the hotel and we were tired ao not many options though.

3

u/DropTopEWop 8h ago

Elite mozz sticks

3

u/AsRealAsItFeels 8h ago

I miss their turkey club

3

u/GlamMetalLion 8h ago

They just closed shop in Puerto Rico. Too expensive for what they offered. By contrast, people are fine with paying Chick Fil A.

3

u/nubianheadband 7h ago

I love the Greek Gyro.

3

u/Usernamesaregayyy 6h ago

Arby’s has been good for over ten years

3

u/Lexiiboo97 5h ago

I love their mozzarella sticks

3

u/ElectronicFloor1898 5h ago

I've always liked Arby's, and I blame most of the hate they get on this ONE Simpson's joke.

That said, they're just as overpriced as most fastfood these days. That's my only complaint. Their meat is essentially just cooked lunchmeat, it's not worth $7 for a sandwich.

3

u/lisasimpsonfan 5h ago

I love their gyros. When our local Arby's have their B1G1 sandwich coupons I always go with the gyro. 2 big sandwiches for $6. One for dinner that night and one for lunch the next day.

5

u/Aggravating-Bug_ 9h ago

They have the best sides. Their mozzarella sticks, jalapeno poppers and potato cake are my favorites.

4

u/Putrid-Function5666 9h ago

Their $7 box is awesome.

5

u/JuJu081316 9h ago

Get the Bronco Berry sauce!! 😍

3

u/Interesting-Lynx-989 9h ago

I was leary about it because it sounded illogical. But the Bronco sauce works well with the poppers.

4

u/tafkat 8h ago

I hate this shit. Arby's is pretty good, the people who say it's bad are just fucking wrong.

1

u/bitnode 7h ago

Arbys blows but it's not the worst. It's so mid to the point where it's boring.

2

u/LumpyStews 7h ago

They have a great Buffalo slider.

2

u/Aggressive-Sort-115 5h ago

Hey so actual question, I don’t personally frequent that establishment as my constitution can’t really hang like that.

What’s with all the hate? They taste pretty good from what I remember (it’s been 5/6 years) and I loved the curly fries

2

u/BAMspek 4h ago

Feels like an Arby’s night…

2

u/Vivid_Anyth4 3h ago

Arbys my Covid champion. Fed me after many long 12 hour shifts.

3

u/TheBigWhatever 9h ago

I think Arby's is great. Sadly, there aren't any where I live now. I'd have to drive at least an hour to get my two beef and cheddars along with an order of curly fries. I'm not driving that far and back for any type of food.

3

u/TrashDaisy999 9h ago

My pregnant ass is addicted to those mozzarella sticks.

4

u/mynamiajeff2-0 9h ago

Arby's is excellent, idk what you're talking about lol

2

u/ChampionOfdimlight 8h ago

Arbys has good food but way overpriced. Nothing there is under 7$. Service is ussually on par except with their app they begin preparing the food the second the order goes in. Last time I was there I ordered a milkshake, by the time I got there 15m later the shake was a melted mess.

2

u/guysams1 8h ago

3 Buffalo Chicken sliders extra Parmesan ranch is under $7.

1

u/ChampionOfdimlight 8h ago

Correction, nothing good is under 7$

2

u/OrangeJoe92 7h ago

Arby's honestly is one of the better fast food restaurants! It gets a bad rap.

2

u/sublimelbz 9h ago

Post the receipt- the amount

1

u/BrittaUnfiltered67 9h ago

That really is my favourite quote from Simpsons since I was a kid. That and not even the fire wants them, in regard to Butterfingers.

1

u/Valuable-Dog490 8h ago

This is a Simpsons line, right?

2

u/laker9903 8h ago

It is.

1

u/Scared-Ideal-1483 8h ago

The turkey bacon ranch sandwich with Funyuns on the side was my jam.

1

u/HD335 8h ago

I love Arby’s when I’m in the mood for it. I know it’s not going to be fancy deli roast beef but it slaps for fast food. Some times I’ll do a generic copy cat at home with Hillshire Roast Beef. Curly fries are definitely bomb. And when they have it during Lent, their fish sandwich kills it too!

1

u/Meowmixez98 7h ago

I loved their deer meat sandwiches. I hope they try that again!

1

u/PeopleCallMeQ 7h ago

If you gonna eat there it better be the chicken fries, mozzys or those heavenly Peach Cobbler rolls!

1

u/Red_Fern1 7h ago

The double beef and cheddar is classic. I also loved the market fresh chicken wraps but they dropped those.

1

u/Roche153 7h ago

What was your sandwich orders?

1

u/Witty-Extension8064 7h ago

I’m happy for you.

1

u/Smidge-of-the-Obtuse 7h ago

I like quite a few things at Arby’s, but I recently tried their Pulled Pork sandwich and it wasn’t very good. The BBQ sauce that comes with it is good, but the pork itself was fairly low flavored, at least compared to homemade and a majority of pulled pork I’ve had.

But that’s the only thing that I’ve found lackluster. I wish they’d bring back their Pork Belly sandwich - THAT was amazing!

1

u/ImNotTheBossOfYou 6h ago

Wow, that IS hungry

1

u/magicalbro 4h ago

I love the Arby's but all locations around me, have really unprofessional workers and they all seem dirty. I've gotten cold mozzarella sticks and cold chicken in my sandwich before. It's a shame cause I like the menu alot. Haven't went in a couple years now

1

u/Luugrin 4h ago

My favorite line from The Simpsons. LOL!

1

u/lartmydude 4h ago

Wowww he’s hungry 😂😂 I still use this reference to this day. I love Arby’s hahaha.

1

u/AerieWorth4747 2h ago

Arby’s rules. I never got the joke.

1

u/ericduhs 2h ago

I love Arby’s.

1

u/_yotis 2h ago

I miss having an arbys nearby(10 miles away) now I have none

1

u/Northlane1991 2h ago

I wished Arby was still around for us. Those curly fries were fire!

1

u/marsepic 1h ago

I'm ride or die for both Arby's and Long John Silvers. Both are way better than pop culture would allow us to believe.

1

u/OrganizationLucky693 1h ago

The only thing that doesn’t wreck my stomach from Arbys are the Gyros. I try to avoid the place.

1

u/MrGreen41 1h ago

Great Simpsons line. I say it every time I eat there!

1

u/funandfoodie 1h ago

Are the cheesesticks battered?! Omg they look like it and I want some!

1

u/AdPuzzleheaded959 1h ago

I love Arby's

1

u/Binary_gh0st 48m ago

Fuck you lol. Arby’s is so fucking good.

1

u/bigwavedave000 8m ago

The Gyro,

If I need a fast food fix, this is it.

1

u/bigwavedave000 7m ago

I wish they still had the pepper sauce though.

1

u/Brirish4ever 6m ago

Arbys always smacks... stop the hate!

1

u/sunGsta 2m ago

Arby’s is better than most fast food places

1

u/rdldr1 9h ago

I'd like to know how much meat they gave you

1

u/Inside_Rub_3381 9h ago

Looks good

1

u/WhichVegetable8285 8h ago

Arby’s is bomb.

1

u/ytuux 7h ago

1

u/DOSBrony 7h ago

I think Arby's tends to astroturf here a lot. The food's okay I guess, but damn do people here worship it.

0

u/ryanasimov 9h ago

Is that one meal for one person?

0

u/Miller335 7h ago

I like Arby's. I don't go because it's too expensive

0

u/DejaWiz2 7h ago

Arby's around my town are fantastic...I usually get 2 Greek gyros no tomatoes and a side of jalapeno poppers with ranch instead of that weird berry sauce. Always a tasty meal!

0

u/SharksFan4Lifee 6h ago

Missing out on their crinkle cut fries, the best fast food fries in the game at the moment.

0

u/FoundationTower 6h ago

I swear Arby's portion sizes are small, unless its the location i went to in Niagara Falls, Canada. Spent $41 cad & still hungry after

0

u/shaborgan 5h ago

It's the most consistent fast food place I've been to

0

u/RelentlessUnyielding 3h ago

Try the French dip with both Arby’s and horsey sauce. Superb. I eat it with curly fries and mellow yellow.

0

u/Caprice42 2h ago

Mmm microwaved food. Yumm!

-6

u/ThisBend7125 9h ago

I will never be that hungry again. All restaurants put up great promo pictures but Arby's is legitimately false advertising.

-6

u/Gta6MePleaseBrigade 9h ago

Looking at Arby’s food makes me feel so sick

-1

u/DeeRexBox 6h ago

Even my 6 year old son explains he's so hungry he could eat at Arbys, and he's never been to an Arbys.

-1

u/Ornery_Week8253 5h ago

I'll try arbys about every ten years, then I remember why I don't go there

-1

u/Alienated420 5h ago

As my late father would say, "It makes poop"

-2

u/Randomizedname1234 9h ago

Marge Simpson would be disappointed.

5

u/PostMatureBaby 9h ago

Sherri says that in the episode 😝

-2

u/Randomizedname1234 9h ago

It’s been a whileeeeeee
