Rant/Rave Carl’s Jr.’s spicy chicken sandwich was hit hard with shrinkflation.
Took a bite and was thrown off. Apart from the real hard texture, it felt the patty was half the size of what it used to be. I was right. Took the bun off and was just so disappointed. I’ve stopped going to Carl’s for the most part because it’s just been so bad for the past few years but I liked going for these every now and then. But now, I think I’m done. This is just sad.

Those were my go-to back in the day. They've been getting worse and worse for awhile now.

Anyone else scroll past this real quick and think it was a picture of a crab or something?

I'm telling you the Cali XL burger is the deal of the year at $6-$7 each. Good burger

These are good when made fresh. Also location is key. I was coming back from Yosemite in 2023, and stopped at a Carl’s Jr in Oakdale. Ordered a WBC and a spicy chicken sandwich. They were made fresh. It was like eyes rolling to the back of my head after the first bite.

Was there any chicken meat in the breading?
