Question Diagnose me!
Hello everyone,
I know that first line diagnostics for endo is a laparoscopic surgery but your girl is afraid of surgery so I'm just seeking an informal diagnosis from any endometriosis experts who may see this.
I'm a 31F, 5'2", 165lbs. Regular cycles. TTC but unsuccessful x 8 months now (not officially diagnosed as infertile but getting close).
I'm ALWAYS boated. I literally look 5-6 months pregnant everytime I eat something (despite taking fiber supplements and probiotics daily).
I'm chronically constipated. I'm lucky if I poop every other day.
I have period cramps that only last the first day of my cycle but they're pretty intense at times and I feel them all over my abdomen not just suprapubicmwhere my uterus is. The cramps don't go away unless I take 800mg of Motrin or use a heating pad. Again only on day 1 of cycle, rest of the cycle I'm fine.
My period blood is dark at times but never heavy and I don't really pass clots.
I've had a few pelvic ultrasounds in my lifetime and 2 have shown a retroverted uterus, 1 showed it to be anteverted. Looks like it changes.
I have ovulation pain every month and almost always ovulate on my Rt side
I have urinary frequency and urgency when I lay down at night. Never happens during the day and doesn't wake me up from my sleep (so could be psychosomatic/anxiety as I have a history of this)
Does this sound like endo? I'm trying to get to the bottom of my difficulty trying to conceive but my reproductive endocrinologist says I have nothing to worry about because my HSG/SIS were clear and if endometriosis was going to effect my chances they would be able to see it on that imaging.... yea okay 🙄

Get an mri done but I think the surgery is up to you, you usually recover quite quickly within two weeks but go with an endometriosis specialist, any other gynae will not help you, or miss things. The surgeons attitude in the pre operative care is the biggest thing you should pay attention to. That being said having a anteverted uterus could also just be causing your conception issues so an mri might be a better idea

No doctors here and even if it was they are legally not allowed to diagnose you. Get the surgery. Take a friend and/or parent and/or support person who can hold your hand through every step. You will lay on a bench and start sleeping then you wake up, it's nothing. Recovery was less then a week for me, go for it girl 🩷
