With their rose colored glasses, gas IS $2.00 per gallon, food is free and everyone is making millions. Their reality is fantasyland.

Republicans on a boat rapidly sinking: at least the captain is a republican, otherwise I would be pissed.

“The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command."- Orwell, 1984
Anyone who buys food or fills their gas tank can see the economy is not “humming along”. Prices and inflation are booming, household credit debt is through the roof and people are cutting back on expenses everywhere to afford the basics.
I guess if you’re a Wall St. trader getting fat on insider trading and market manipulation, the economy looks good, but that ain’t most of us.
Trump sending out his party hacks to gaslight the public into thinking everything is better than fine is the ultimate insult.

And with that, all the Fox viewers say “it’s amazing. This is the greatest economy in my lifetime.”

Journalist: you're doing a great job, don't you agree?
Administration: yes.
Give this program a Pulitzer!

The rest of yous… ah who’s kidding, fuck everyone else. Smile and clap for dear leader.

Because of conversations like this I stopped watching the FOX business channel. Stuart Varney is a Trump loving, MAGA cult member fan boy!

Downvoting this as it’s not informative. posting propaganda talking points is irresponsible and low value

The economy is humming = stock market is economy.
And by middle class = they mean the top 10% that own 93% of ALL stocks

If this is humming, then we were in an absolute economic boom in 2023 and 2024. The mainstream media was throwing out terms like "vibecession" at the time.

Only reason they are humming is because the don’t know the words to “Brother can you spare a dime.”

People need to understand one thing.
When MAGA speaks, they speak to an audience of one.

I hope the midterms remind them why that's stupid.

Do you think it’s a coincidence that Bill Hagerty isn’t up for re-election?

Why ask about the economy when we could all just stand up and sing the pledge of allegiance?
Bum bum bum
"Our country tis of thee-cmon guys, sweet land of liberty- ah shucks folks I thought you loved freedom. Why, why I think this calls for some warm apple pie that I fucked earlier.

I sold everything last year.
Everything is a lie.

Yes, and a lie, a fantasy, eventually has an expiration date. It’s a rare thing, in that it is always true.

They really do live in a bubble. A small, dark, self-absorbed bubble.
