Help !

I have recently moved to EK with my family due to personal circumstances and unfortunately the travel back and forth from my current job is a nightmare.

I have been looking non-stop when I have the time for a job closer by, preferably in EK, Hamilton ect..

This is near impossible, there is literally nothing, there is however jobs available in Bellshill or Rutherglen which is literally 15 to 20 minutes away in the car but for some reason takes 1h and 20mins using public transport as EK has some of the worst public transport available.

Anyone know of any jobs on the EK area ? My experience is in B2B sales, I am currently an SDR but honestly I will do anything at this point.

Thank you for the help troops !

Rutherglen isn't bad by public transport, the 18/18A and 21 all go straight there. Bellshill is a bit of a nightmare for sure as you have to go on the tour of Hamilton and Motherwell on the 201 to get there. Overall our transport is highly focused on getting in and out of Glasgow and if you're not on those routes you're going to struggle.

Good luck with finding something more local!

The transport is there however the travel time is atrocious

I had to make a trip to Rutherglen to pick up my car from the garage and the bus trip from the town centre terminus took an hour. It would have been 10 mins by car!

I guess it depends what end of EK you are at. Do you work in town? If so the train will be better if you can get to the station? I only go to work via train or I drive as the buses take far too long.

You should sign up with Blue Arrow Agency. Most of the entry level warehouse, factory, manual labour jobs available in EK start you through them.
