Help needed with sending messages using a kyocera 42c

my phone is running Umobile (+60) and the respective umobile apn and I live in Sg, the sim is on roaming and works properly other than the fact I cant send messages to myself from a different phone and i can send messages out from the ketai, any solution to the issue? (and yes, im using QKsms, Apns set up for umobile and ive tried witht he roaming apn settings)
