Question Internal Drum Lighting / Diffusion

I've fabricated and installed some light bars to go inside the shells of my acrylic drum kit. Currently utilizing parchment paper for diffusion that I painstakingly cut and installed underneath the hardware on the inside of the drum.

The parchment is doing a pretty good job at diffusion, but it isn't perfect. There are some minor wrinkles that aren't noticeable unless inspected closely.

Wondering what the community thinks, A, and B, I want to consider different materials. Preferably something cut to spec so I can remove and install it easily. Hoping to have a discussion about the process and options. Thanks!

Is that light bulb rated for the SPL it’s about to get blasted with?

We will find out soon enough! Just getting the proof of concept up and running.

I'd think a rather large part of that proof will be using a non-broken bulb.

I went with the Govee H6008. Are you suggesting the pressure of a strike will destroy the light? My initial plan was to wrap an LED strip around a central tube. The prototype looked wack.

Let us know, if it doesn’t explode or stop working right away you might be onto something pretty neat
