WIP Beautiful Colors but…
Bought a ForeverYoung large canvas kit which was gorgeous on the preview but not all the colors translate as was shown. It does have a tight grid but there was also much more trash than DAC with their resin drills.
Pretty sure it’s AI as well as no artists are cited where I could see. But the kits are relatively cheap and decent, if you catch them on sale.
Honestly, I think I’m super picky with kits and will stick with DAC. 🥹😊 I’ve tried pretty much everywhere else and always end up disappointed for the time invested in a kit.

I actually had the same issue with a DAC kit. beautiful picture, canvas and drills have been great quality, but the coloring of the drills are much darker and vibrant shades than the picture which was a bummer because I no longer wanted to hang it where I had previously planned. FWIW, your project is coming out incredibly beautiful! I think those very fair peachy/skin-color tones must be difficult for the manufacturers to get perfect because that was the same coloring issue with mine - a very light skin-color type of orange came out very vibrant orange.

Ohh yes. I had an ArtDot canvas with really cute art but the skin tone on the girl turned out bright tangerine orange, almost neon, lmao.

Are you under any warm tinted lights? If you planned on hanging it, if you put it closer to a window it might help. The natural light could tone down the saturation. I’m glad you posted that at least the grid is tight. I just ordered a kit from there this weekend. I have never ordered from them before and was a little concerned about what I was in for. I did search the sub first for any info on the full size diamond paintings, and I‘m assuming it was you that answered about buying this one since I saw this picture in a comment. Other than that post there wasn’t a whole lot of info about them. I think it looks great though. Very colorful. Thanks for sharing.

You’re very welcome! Yeah, the grid is very on par with DAC if you’ve ever purchased from them. Crystal clear print, good glue, and no gapping. The drills are nice too but there is a fair amount of bubbles, spotted drills, and flow drills. My only complaint honestly is a few mismatched colors from the preview. Good luck with your canvas when it arrives!

I appreciate the extra information! I have done kits from DAC so that is helpful. A loose grid is a dealbreaker for me. It bothers me more than it probably should honestly. Thank you for replying!

I’m an artist, the picture is 100% AI not only are there inconsistencies with the hair and the way it’s drawn, it’s pretty prone to a lot of flaws AI art has.

AI images should be illegal 😒👎 Makes me want to trash this piece. Thank you for your input though! It helps a lot and I’ll avoid this company until they cite genuine artists. Appreciate it.

I have no ounce of respect for any ANY company including the famous ones who use AI, it’s disrespectful and disgusting and shitting on artists when the very thing you’re selling is something creative, it’s so humiliating. I’m so glad you agree with me! I’ve seen far too many people here buys things anyways when it’s obviously AI slop. It’s so disappointing.

I’ve only done cheap Amazon ones but I’m happy. Probably never should try the DAC or I won’t like these cheapies! I’m addicted. A friend gave me one for Christmas and I love it. I stand up which is good for me bc I sit too much and standing is nice.
Beautiful pic too! Love the colors.

RE: the artist - I've reached out to them, let's see what they say. I know that a lot of the pieces I buy are from an in-house pixel artist, but I don't have one of their bigger ones.

I would love to know as well. I just purchased a kit over the weekend (not the same as OP), and couldn’t see any information about an artist. Their website is a bit of a mess though in my opinion. I’m hoping they’re not big on the AI, as I personally try my best to avoid it.

Despite your dissatisfaction with the kit, it looks pretty. I do agree about DAC kits. I have several large kits. They are all DAC with the exception of two Dreamer Designs kits. My cheap Temu and Amazon kits are just languishing in a box.
