Tips / Tricks / Tools How do you store your extra drills?
I'm open to hear about any storage options, but especially anything that minimizes the space used.
Right now I'm staying with a friend, so I don't have a lot of room for craft stuff, but when I have my own place I'm definitely hoping to have a corner devoted to diamond painting. I haven't seen a lot of storage options that aren't huge and clunky.
I'm thinking about binder pockets for coin collections lol

This is exactly the kind of thing I had in mind and I'm so glad to see that it works so well!

And the DMC numbering was annoying and time consuming but absolutely worth it because now, if any kits are short on drills, I can just look up the official number and boom, there they are.

I have adhd and autism and I've actually been craving doing a big official putting them all in order lmao. I had no idea exactly how to go about it, but this is peak. Thanks for sharing!

I love this! I think my adhd wild be overwhelmed, but some kind of a drawer system would probably be amazing!

I store them in the little baggies that comes with most kits. Then I put it in a sandwich ziploc bag and label it. I plan to eventually throw it out if no drills fall out. The only drills I would keep are DACs.

That's a good way to keep it all clean and contained. I'm eventually planning on printing out my own pixel art.

I save some of my favorite colors to use as accents on other Rhinestoning projects and throw the rest out. I used to save them but I literally never reached for them ever so they were just taking up space for me.

If you don't have don't nice to say, you can simply say nothing tbh.

I man I get you're being joking, but it's kind of like coming into a space where people are talking about their collections and just being like, "oh that's literally trash to me".
Idk I'm honestly autistic and tone is hard online. I can see you were probably not being rude, actually.

Please Read your question again. This is how some store them. Extra drills are not art, a lot of people just throw them away. It was an honest and humorous response but not offensive

No, you're right. I've been made fun of for hobbies a lot, and I probably processed it as rude because of my own problems.
Tbh though I do think there is an org that takes extra supplies to make kits for people who can't afford them! I'm keeping all my drills but I have all my trays and pens saved up to send out a gift box one of these days :)

Yeah I've never used them because of the price! I also love small aliexpress paintings that end up like bad pixel art lol

I have my extra in bigger zip lock with labels of company. But everything fit in one old ice cream container. Will probably mix my temu extra drill together unless its from a mid range brand like wowo art and senterwan.

I started storing in the baggies and labeling the bags with the DMC number. When I start a new kit, I’ll look to see if any are the same as the new kit and use those first. I have small canisters to use for the current kit I’m working on.
