Someone posted a video about how nice a good tray shake and they were right. They shake so good my husband did this.
I ordered them and just got them, they’re lovely af. I can’t believe they shake this well even for him. I thought I had developed the right wrist technique to get this result but nah. He’s never done this before and is nervous when I make him single place a stray for me just for fun and he did this while I was pouring out another color to try. Either these trays are better than I thought possible or he is hiding some serious tray shaking skills.
Jeez I sound like an ad or something but I’m just super excited because I’ve been doing this out of ziplocs and some inferior PET (like typical plastic that the craft and fishing and craft/beads divided storage things is made of) storage trays. This upgrade feels like that time I got an Xbox series S after playing at a slow frame rate for months on my xb1. The box kind of does feel the same too weirdly.
I am still gonna take a break when I lay my last corner on my demon date canvas but I’m suddenly very excited to kit up again! 😍🤍🎧💎

These are the Artdot trays looks like the 60 pack. I have these, they are great for rounds but for squares I find them off a bit and use the RedTwos trays for my squares. They are still miles ahead of the green comes with the kit trays.
I use these for squares only and have no trouble. Not sure why the original commenter was running into issues but I’ve used these for several large square canvases and these are the only trays I’ll use. They are amazing.
Oh yeah I can feel the sketchiness and I’m sure I’ll break one or two but they’re an improvement over the others I was using so I’m digging it for now 😎

I have two sets of 60 of these and absolutely swear by them! Love them for both my square and circle kits, but they do get slightly static on the rare occasion.
I have 2 sets of the 60 count too and they have completely changed the game for me. I agree on the light static occasionally. I just kitted up a new project today and only one was ‘clingy’. A couple of extra itty bitty softener sheet pieces in that one did the trick.

Sounds like the one I have from before. I do like them a lot but they take a little more skill to shake. I only have like 27 of them in one container though. I’d be interested to see the one with 50 too
I have this set too and like them, but feel like they have one fatal flaw and two annoying faults. I haven’t seen anyone comment on this, so maybe it’s just me who hates this - shouldn’t the lid slide out from the other side so that when you shake them and slide the rest to the flat bottom side, they don’t just fall out when you slide open the lid? This is especially painful when you have a lot of drills in there. I can only use a small part of the lined section because of this until there are less drills in the tray. Is this just me?
(The other two are that the lines are not tall enough and some are warped)
Omg I used one last night and I had to pull the lid all the way off lol that’s going to bother me! Hopefully I can work around it. I wish they also had a little spout somehow where they’re easier to dump back out. I think they make some with it but I really wanted clear ones.
In these photos it’s just an unboxing. Like it’s the box they came in. The trays stack but they don’t have a case. It’s such a nice freakin box though kind of want to keep it lol
Shoot, I love these containers but I need a storage box that keeps them organized bc I’m constantly dragging my paintings back and forth from work to home (yes I get to DP at work!!!)

I just got a set too! I think the grooves are just a tad deeper than the ones that come with the kits. They definitely line up so much nicer
