Tips / Tricks / Tools my dp workspace redone!!
I had to redo my whole dp workspace, it's in my living room andcwas getting out of control and messy too!! I also spray painted my desk pink and added funky sticky wallpaper on the wood top! I just had to organize and redo my whole space! It has to look decent because it's the first thing you see when you come in my house!! I'm very happy with the results!! I just wanted to share my dp workspace with everyone on here because I worked hard on it!! Hope everyone likes it!! π―πππΌβ¨π

Looks very organized and comfortable. I have to ask where did you get the holder that is on the sides of your desk that the canvas is rolled up in as you finish sections and move it towards you?

As a newbie to the hobby, what is the pink thing hovering over your desk?

Not the OP but I can answer that. Itβs a nail light. I love mine. It lights up the top of my drills so I can tell if the are right side up or upside down lol

They are clamps for holding your completed portion of your canvas neatly tucked under your work surface! I got them from my favorite 3d printing tray and tools website! They have 2 different sizes and they come in many colors!! Bella Art De Nicole

Me too. How do you keep the diamonds from falling of while rolled? I rolled mine and a few kept falling off

u/personwithaknife Mar 22 '26
Roll outward so they're not pushing against each other. And before i roll it I make sure i go over it with one of those roller tools to make sure everything is pressed firmly into place.

It looks great.Β Though at first glance, I was wondering why you had half of a quilting hoop on your desk.

u/Hot-Blood-6795 Mar 23 '26
I don't know what that is, so I don't even know what you are referring to on my desk!! Sorry, can you explain!! Lol πΉ

I love it! Very cool. You should probably get a clear mat for under your chair so it doesnβt ruin that pretty wood floor.

I had a plastic office grade mat, it had notches on the underside, I didn't think about it, well those notches dug into my wood floors!!! Damage all around my work space!! But I have a white kitchen floor and I don't want to dye my hair, my mom's and sister in law too in there, so we put down towels every gd time and I still managed to make 3 black β« spots on the wood floor!! π«π«ππ but it's all my mistakes in the end, my friend is a great Handyman and we are going to redo the living room floor once it's nicer out!! π€·ββοΈπ€¦ββοΈπ lol

Do youβ¦do this professionally? I mean it looks great, but I guess Iβm not that dedicated. π

u/Hot-Blood-6795 Mar 22 '26
I don't!! Lol I'm disabled due to 13 failed leg surgeries, and I'm home all day, I also have severe chronic pain, and anxiety! I found diamond art and it's something I can do with little added pain, and it calms my anxiety! So I dp probably over half my day, almost daily, because it's become such a big part of my life, I started upgrading all my dp workspace, this is the result, it's my happy place!! πβΊοΈπ―ππππΌβ¨
