The pkg says 18 pcs, but I count 13 (the stylus itself, and tips for 1-10 and a bent tip-idk if it has a name). What are the other 5 pcs? I’m also curious about the price, would you mind sharing?

I'd guess wax squares are the other 5pcs.

It's the wax and pen with those tips. So count the tips and pen then the rest is the wax. Also the bent one are called angled tips.

Threaded like a screw.

Someone did a video about how they hated this pen because of how thick it is but it is one of my go tos!

My chunky pen is also my favorite pen. I bought it because it had a light in the tip. i found i didn’t like that light source but love the chunky pen anyway. 🙂👍

Where do you buy your customs? I spend so much time on Etsy shopping for them, but can't ever decide on which vendor to finally purchase one from...

These are nice pens. Etsy? What shop?

Thank you. 😃

Where do you get these pens? And do they fit the thin placers?

u/Expert_Percentage_69 Jan 11 '26

Do you mean plastic spacers or metal spacers

I got this same pen in a different color for christmas and I just don't like it. I've tried and tried but can't get used to it. The tip of the pen is so much fatter than the tip of the pen that comes with the kits and I like the smallness better. Loved the chunky handle though.

I have that pen. I love using the multi tools. My favorite ones are the 3 & 6. Personally I realized that doing 6 at a time is better (for me) than doing too many in case I mess up.

I use the 9

5

u/PurpleOctagon5 Jan 11 '26

The last time I used the 9 all my square drills were so crooked, i got overwhelmed

I have that one! Any seasonal DA that comes with a pen, and the one in the new storage case, is that same chonky pen in a different color.

I have many, each with different tips so I never change tips, just pens

I got this same tool from Michael's, mainly for the metal straightener attachment. When I went to use it, the dang thing wasn't even straight - it was warped beyond belief!! I was so aggravated!! I hope you don't have any problems with yours and get a lot of use out of it!! But needless to say, Michael's isn't my go-to for diamond painting supplies anymore!! 🤣

I got this in my stocking for Christmas I love this pen

u/MamaDiggsCole Jan 11 '26

How much was it? I need a new pen.

7

u/Narrow_Yak_4165 Jan 11 '26

So this one at Michael’s was $17. But I had a 30% off so it was $14.

But you can buy some on Amazon for like $10-$15

I just got one on Amazon for $9. I love it, the bent single tip is so much better than the straight tip.

u/Rommie557 Jan 11 '26

I also love the elbow tips. I have a couple of pen sets, and those are always the first to get installed.

Nice that’s cool

I don't like the plastic pen they give you with diamond paintings they are annoying to use

4

u/Narrow_Yak_4165 Jan 11 '26

Ikr and they are a pain. In. The. Butt

u/ATK9918 Jan 11 '26

I have this pen and love it!

2

u/Latter-Deer9718 Jan 11 '26

I got the holiday version of this but noticed on the 6/9 it’s smaller than the normal plastic ones. I have to push diamonds into place after putting them down.

2

u/Asteriakat Jan 11 '26

And threaded! Hell yeah

2

u/Breesan24 Jan 11 '26

I got the same one but in green

2

u/[deleted] Jan 11 '26

If you are using the thin placers, they will not fit in it

2

u/Adorable-Buffalo-177 Jan 11 '26

I have this pen!!. Either i'm doing something wrong or it doesn't pick up them all up at the same time

2

u/Narrow_Yak_4165 Jan 11 '26

Have you tried putting more wax in? It always helps

1

u/Adorable-Buffalo-177 Jan 11 '26

I have but it still doesn't pick them up

2

u/Narrow_Yak_4165 Jan 12 '26

Ok so I’ve tested it out and it works well for me. It’s probably the wax your using maybe

1

u/Adorable-Buffalo-177 Jan 12 '26

What kind of wax do you recommend using then?

1

u/Narrow_Yak_4165 Jan 12 '26

The wax can dry out and not work well. I always use the ones that come with the painting

1

u/Narrow_Yak_4165 Jan 11 '26

Mmmh…. I’ll have to test it out myself tomorrow

3

u/truth_crime Jan 11 '26

Call me old fashioned but I’ve always just used the single spacer.

2

u/Asteriakat Jan 11 '26

The attachment screw in. Or threaded like a screw.

2

u/Dramatic_Category_63 Jan 12 '26

Ugh... I want it for the sole purpose of the fact it has a 2 multiplacer and I don't have it...I have the rest though...and I really really don't need anymore wax....I've been using the same wax bit from my first kit...

2

u/Narrow_Yak_4165 Jan 12 '26

I have a whole bunch of wax

0

u/Dramatic_Category_63 Jan 12 '26

Lol, if you don't do you even DP? XD

1

u/No_Addition3213 Jan 11 '26

What are all the pieces?

3

u/BecciRenee Jan 11 '26

From 1 placer to like a 10 placer. I saw these the other day at Michael's also. I have several pens from there but prefer the Benote pen from Amazon.

1

u/Finally-Flourishing Jan 11 '26

I think the pens are just as addictive as the actual painting.... I think I have like 9 or 10 custom or resin pens.
