Season Start + Schedule Announcement

Hello all,

(Apologies for the English post here, I do not know Czech) I am visiting Czechia in early-mid September and am hoping to see a hockey game while there.

I am curious if there are factors that lead to the decision of when the Extraliga season starts (it seems variable but in the 2nd-3rd week of September). Also when is the schedule usually announced? I will be on the lookout but am hoping to have an idea soon so as to schedule my travel around a game.

Usually it starts on friday mid-September, some matches may be set a day before.

25/26 season started earlier than usual due to Olympic break in February.
