I just really hope we actually use the full squad and all of the newer guys get some real game time.

So many times we call in new players only for them to feature for 6 minutes across the 2 fixtures.

If the numbers indicate an 11 its serious news for melia and umeh :)

Captains wearing 22 & one of the first names on the sheet in Cheeo has 20. Cool the jets there 😅

If was the operative word.

He says he's starting an experienced 11.

That Brann call up is baffling really.

Is he the first LoI First Division player to make a matchday squad? I’ve seen plenty of him and while he’s a decent keeper my opinion is that he’s probably lacking in strength to make a step up beyond the LoI. I’d have had Dave Harrington well ahead of him after seeing a lot of both but I think Wales have really turned his head assuming he can find his way off the bench next season wherever he ends up playing

He got relegated and no one in the PD picked him up. All you need to know.

To counter that, he was under contract and City weren’t willing to release him, we turned down a fee for Sean Maguire from Rovers. Goalkeeper wasn’t why we were relegated last season and he only became the number 1 at the midpoint anyway. The lad is 22 with plenty of space to grow but I think it’s physical strength he’s missing to make it outside of the LoI

Will the game be replayed in full on the RTE player? I've a feckin work thing at 7:15 tonight.

Over Jack? Be asking a lot to give Jaden a full debut in his first pro level game

I imagine this is the game where the younger and lads on the outskirts of the squad will get a chance and Canada will be the best eleven.

If anything it's the other way around since there's lads dropping out after Qatar & lads like Devoy coming in for Canada

Nando on the money here. Heimer said in the presser that the Qatar game will be an experienced lineup, and if all goes well one or two inexperienced lads will get some minutes.

He then said the Canada game will be more experimental

Guessing front two.

5-3-2 / 3-5-2 is usually how we set up with some shift to 3-4-3.
