TATTOO Glad to carry all that weight
Sorry, the pictures don't do this tattoo any justice, but it's surprisingly difficult to take a decent picture of a tattoo on the inner biceps! Anyway, probably my favorite tattoo, done by the insanely talented martatapia.ink. Currently about 6 months healed

I thought so too! I had three stills I loved and this, and asked the artist which she’d enjoy doing the most. She chose this one and in hindsight it was definitely the best choice!!

Nah, the picture definitely shows how nice it is. Lovely tattoo. Does the artist watch the anime too? He/she capture the essence of it really well

Thanks!! I’m not sure but she had done quite a few cowboy bebop pieces before but was really happy to do one with Faye!

I love how you framed the two of them together—it feels so dynamic and intimate. The artist really nailed it.

The love story that never happened because Spike wanted to be with another woman.
This art piece is the perfect encapsulation of that. Spike isn’t looking at Faye. He isn’t particularly conscious of her if you read the artist commentary.

Six months healed and it still looks that crisp? That's a seriously well-executed piece. The framing and negative space make it feel like a panel pulled straight from the source.
