Supanova - Australia Question

Is it safe for a 13 year old to go to a con alone (without friends because I have none) or not?

OP, which Con are you talking about? It's going to be a very different situation for a small con in a small town vs. a huge con in a place like, say, Sydney. And what do you mean by "safe"?

Well it’s be in Perth, and safe as in nothing particularly bad should happen to someone there on there own

I'll assume you're going to Supernova. You'll be fine. Lots of people go to cons on their own. Cons also usually have tons of security. There will be about 25,000 other people there too, so no one will give you a moment's notice. Worst thing that could happen is you buy one of those overpriced mystery boxes and find out there's nothing but junk in it.

Wear your most comfortable shoes. Don't spend more than you should. Drink water. Don't eat too much junk food. Takes breaks when you start to get tired, not when you're really tired. Have fun!

Depends on the con/area. When i was that age I went to cons with my mom, but would split up and do my own thing for a few hours at a time. I wouldn't have felt comfortable being there entirely on my own, thought

I don't think OP is going to SDCC.
