Best spot in yellow springs?

I know its like an hour away but i figured this is the best place to ask. Anyone have any good Yellow Springs recommendations?

Edit: by spots I mean spots to eat but I will definitely be going to Clifton Gorge it looks so beautiful!

They have a cool store next door with bread and olives served in the restaurant (but more affordable if it's a picnic you're after)

Clifton Gorge. It is just outside town. Maybe the prettiest spot in Ohio (according to me).

Current Cuisine is the BEST for lunches. The last two times we were in town, they had an African chicken soup that was so so good and their sandwiches are super good as well. They've got a homemade chicken pot pie that you can get out of their freezer and take home (if you get there in time, they sell out fast) that is one of my favorite meals. I've driven up and back just for the pot pie before

Pancakes with clarified butter at Sunrise Cafe

Yellow Springs smokehouse is a newer spot but they have some good bbq.

Yes! Some friends and I would go out late at night to spark a J and wander around. One time we stumbled upon a large group of people sitting silently in a circle and it scared the bejeezus out of us, so we ran for our lives. When we got far enough away we heard them doing some kind of chanting in unison….wild

Isn’t this the town where Dave Chappelle lives?

I love Hahas and Peaches for food if both are still there.

In Yellow Springs there used to be a 1 acre plot in the woods, called "Pine Forest" in Glen Helen. It was a huge plot of land completely umbrella'd from the pines and the ground was super soft like a sponge from all the needles. it was such a cool place to walk through. Very surreal feeling to this area.

I think it was 2008 when all the hurricane winds came through and destroyed almost all of them.
But wow, what a place it was.

It’s still there, the ground is still spongy, it’s just showing its age but still lovely.

it's been a long time since I've been there.
Can you refresh me how to get to the spot?
Because if it's "back" I might stop by and take a look.

I mean it’s not “back” but what left is still there. There are lots of downed trees and rough looking ones still standing. I saw some morels last time I was there. Easiest way is to park at John Bryan and walk across the road.

Okay, that's the way I remember it.
Very rough and zero pine canopy.

Back in the 80s it was a full acre of very high eastern pine canopy. It was like being indoors, and the silence in there was mystical.

Yellow Springs Brewery has really good food. And he makes good beer too!
