Self Promotion I got tired of the web being "read-only", so I built an open-source extension that lets you permanently erase, reshape, and annotate any webpage.
Adnota turns your browser into a canvas:
- The Eraser: Click on any annoying: ad, popup, or sidebar and delete it. The best part? It stays deleted even if you refresh or come back tomorrow.
- The Highlighter & Notes: Mark up text and drop sticky notes directly on the page for your research or AI prompts.
- The Resizer: Drag and drop or resize cramped layouts.
Absolutely private. No cloud, no telemetry, no accounts. Everything saves locally to your browser. It’s also 100% open-source (MIT licensed).
It just went live on the Chrome store today, completely free. What's the first thing you'd erase?
