Question rooster behavior?
one of our roosters (one of two, not the head honcho) will constantly squeeze himself in between a table and a crate in a very small space. he will make ungodly noises until his hens come and gather around to check on him. sometimes he scratches the crate and pecks at it but other times he just lays there, loafed up. anyone able to explain this behavior? is he just acting weird to get the hens’ attention? 🤣

He is trying to tell the hens that he found a good nesting spot. If the hens look and walk away, that means they don’t agree with his assessment lol.
