Has anyone noticed how dodgy kloof is getting?

No I haven't. It feels like it gets less dodgy every year. Back in 2006, people got mugged at gunpoint on Kloof. I can't vouch for what happens lower down from Spar these days though.

I mean lower down from spar is about 200m left of kloof, perfectly safe during the day but wouldn’t go anywhere near that McDonald’s at night

I think they mean Kloof Street is getting more dangerous. In what way is anyone's guess though

Maybe OP means Kloof Road coming over the mountain - guess that’s technically more dangerous than a few years back

it's about the same as it's been for years imo. still better than it was in the late 90s/early 2000s. but I don't like walking it particularly because there's often some of those waiting to prey on tourists guys around, fewer than lower down on Long St though. so idk about getting, it's just the same minor stuff.

No. Kloof street was a no go zone in the early 2000’s. It’s only gotten safer
