Question | Advice-Needed Stellenbosch to Foreshore Route

We are driving from Stellenbosch to Foreshore. Could anyone advise please the safest route? I was thinking R304/N1, but any advice about this would be most gratefully received. For our other journeys, noted as follows, my understanding is that the N2 should be okay but please let me know of any alternative suggestions.

Cape Town airport to Camps Bay

Camps Bay to Hermanus (R44 for a scenic detour)

Foreshore to the airport

Generally the N2 is fine to travel on during the day. Just take extra caution at night. Stick to the N2 and no turns till you in town. N1 same story,take extra caution at night and stick to the highway. If you want just stick to the N1. Generally its more of a chilled drive.

I do both routes every morning and afternoon. Depends on the time of day bu general rule of thumb with the N2 is not after sunset, and definitely do not be on it during the week between 5:30 and 9:00. R300 to N1 is fine, traffic might hit ya, but is generally safer, just stay away from the cape flats section of the R300. If you want to use it, go through Zevenwacht, Kuilsriver, and get on to the R300 at the Stikland turn off, instead of going N2, R300, N1.
