Question | Advice-Needed Table Mountain's lights

Why has the mountain's lights been on all night the last couple of nights? I thought they turned it off after a few hours so the dassies don't get too fat. Won't anyone think of the dassies!

No, they continue to eat because they think it's daytime. Light pollution really messes up nature.
