omg! Right!? aaaarrrggghhh My first office job, someone gave me one of those tiny cactus with a stoopid flower GLUED to the top. I carefully peeled off the flower. I have had that cactus now for 40 years!

it is about 7 inches tall and 4 inches wide with serious spines. Slow slow grower. It has never flowered.....

Does it get sun and fertilizer/fish tank water?

i don't have a fish tank but I have an outdoor pond with fish (but i wonder if that water is too too!) and I have never heard of this. It gets lots of light but not direct sun. I have never fertilized it ;-( Is that true? I , omg, I can't believe that! I posted a photo today in this subreddit with the title, "What kind of cactus am I?"

Pond water is also valid fertilized water that you can pour in especially that the water always remains at some level of nitrogenation (made up word) so you can grab water anytime, just do it once every third watering
