I believe this is the same price as it has been for the last week or two. Is anything different?

Is this a pretty good deal for a teenagers pc?

It's a great deal in this market for any AM5 budget build, not just for teenagers.

I misread the CPU model number, thinking it was a am4.

I build one with 9600xt and it's handling Graphics good and it's quite fast. Yes, I built it for my kid as well

Man I just finished a micro build with a 5080 and the 7500x3d was a beast at 4k. I used it to both test it for my daughters upcoming build and needed to update the mobo for my 9850x3d. I can only say it is a great cpu for gaming and will pair nicely with her 9070xt at 1440p.

Is a good base machine to begin with and upgrade down the line.

I've gone through 2 and they've been very buggy. The first one would crash almost instantly all the time. The longest I had it posted for was 30 minutes. My current one has been online for 12 days straight but prior I had a couple reboots after 5 days. I'm going to try and take my 8700g from my mini pc and see if it's the CPU causing the problem since on microcenter's website the ram is rated well but the CPU motherboard combo is not. I think the CPU is such a bottom binned chip that AMD is just selling them to microcenter and just dealing with the RMA process instead of testing them.

Probably a MOBO issue, assuming the RAM passes memtest86+. I have zero issues with 7500x3d on Gigabyte B650I AX.
