Feel like younger people understand btc better than boomers that already have their life setup by the old system because its existential for our generation. We will never catch up to boomer levels of wealth unless crypro levels the field for our generation. At least the ones that are prepared for the new world
Boomer is kind of an insulting term. I don't understand why ageism is still perfectly ok. It takes a long time to build wealth and most of us feel not all that comfortable while we are doing it. It sounds from what you are saying that younger people don't actually understand btc. They are just desperate for something to make them rich. Maybe that is why they zoom in on the charts down to the day. The only value in btc is what people want to believe is there. Every one of us is subject to a government and those governments will not allow btc to be money. It will always be an investment and taxed when you dispose of it. I kind of saddens me that young people don't see that. I wonder if any of them ever filed an itemized tax return. This meme is nonsense and this sub is junked up with many others like it.
I never understood how “boomer” is supposed to be a bad thing. So those of us with a little bit of life experience and wisdom are somehow the problem? That in itself is part of the problem. Kids, including my own don’t listen to good advice. Too much social media influence and excuses. I tell my own all the time and will continue to they will invest when it becomes important to them. Until then I hope they enjoy their $50,000 car….when they are 50 and realize they have nothing they will wake up. I try.

There really should be an minimum age to be on this forum.
