Comedy writers and actors

Hey! So I’ve posted something similar to this before on another sub but with not much luck so imma try again. My dream is to find someone or a group of people I can write and perform comedy with! I don’t know if this is the best place to look for those kind of people but I’m shooting my shot. I’m from the uk, I’m 22, and yeah if anyone is interested to meet up and bounce some ideas around let me know, I’m sure there’s a lot of people who don’t know where to look for friends with these kind of aspirations as well🙂 I love comedy double acts and groups such as rik and ade, the league of gentlemen, the mighty boosh, morecambe and wise, the two ronnies, comic strip, etc 🙂

Odds on, unless you're in a really small town, there should be some kind of comedy troupe meeting somewhere on a regular basis. My local one is basically a bunch of stand ups who meet to try out material on each other and collaborate. Try asking at or searching for local theatres, comedy clubs, anywhere they might hang out. There's lot of online groups you could do this with, but in person is really a great way to get a feel for the local scene
