Really loved the following:

Evenings & Weekends - Oisin McKenna

Expectation - Anna Hope

The Bricks that Built the Houses - Kae Tempest

Loved them being set in London, about that late 20s/early 30s life stage, good characters, good plot.

Book friends have often suggested as similar in vibe that I didn't like include Everything I Know About Love - Dolly Alderton (I know everyone loves this; for me it read like a massively extended Instagram caption).

I like books which are fairly realistic, good characters, especially love when there are interconnected characters throughout or multiple narrators, generally prefer more contemporary fiction than historic.
