Searching for Stranger Things Summer Vibes - Horror, Thriller, Mystery

Hey peeps,

I am searching for books with following tropes:

- stranger things vibes

- small town / suburb

- set in summer

- horror / thriller / mystery

- the protagonists can be teens, but the vibe should not be YA or NA, if you know what I mean.

So something like Stranger Things or IT.

It would be great if the books were available in German, but I also read in English.

Summer of Night by Dan Simmons is probably the closest grown-up summer horror vibe for me. My Best Friend’s Exorcism is also very summer/80s/creepy-friend-group, though it leans a little more fun and messy than pure mystery.
