Cover What’s the best way to remove adhesive from this former library book?

I removed all library stickers, but there’s a lot of residue on the front/back cover and the spine. What can I use to remove the adhesive without damaging the cover?

Naptha (lighter fluid) IS the way. Every book and record store has a bottle near the counter.

goo gone is honestly a life changer, especially for getting sticky stuff off of paperbacks. I bought a big spray bottle of it a good while ago and it's lasting me forever cause you only need a little bit, but it works great. you could probably find it elsewhereif you look, but I bought mine off amazon
