I'm a woman and I do this all the time when I'm comfortable and want to do something different with my arms than I usually do. Pretty sure it's not a gender thing.

It's also a good way to stretch your arms.

Edit: sitting like this in PUBLIC or in front of strangers as a woman is an entirely different conversation.

Ya if you have any boobs they'll be pushed to attention.

Love this pose but you get unwanted stares in public if you do it as a woman.
