Workplace Why do men do this?

Post image

I’ve never once in my life seen a woman sit like this. Lol

Some dumb asses on here, this is very basic body language and nobody got it. It's called 'hooding' like a cobra, a dominant territorial display to appear larger, subconscious or not, that's what it is. It's cocky and overconfident in most cases.

Please tell me if I'm understanding you correctly:

If I'm sitting alone in my office and lean back in my chair to the point that my head is lolling backward, so I raise my arms, interlace my fingers behind my head, and rest my head there, I'm acting out a territorial, ego-driven display of dominance?

I think it's pretty reasonable to say that it might actually just be a comfortable position to sit in for a short time. Do you think that's so unreasonable an assertion that whoever says so is a dumbass and not getting it right?

I get the vibe it’s a bit flirty and cocky too. Like ‘look at my arms’

I would avoid any lads that do this often or as a way of 'flirting'.

Wieso interpretiert man so viel Müll in sowas hinein? Ich machs öfter alle 30-40 Minuten wegen höllischen Nacken/Schulterverspannungen und in den Arm strahlenden Schmerzen in dem Bereich. Dann muss man lesen, man tut es um überheblich zu wirken. Wieso muss man in alles immer etwas hineininterpretieren
