Workplace Why do men do this?

Post image

I’ve never once in my life seen a woman sit like this. Lol

I do it because it’s comfortable. I have absolute shit shoulders from physical activity in my youth and this helps stretch them for momentary relief 🤷🏻‍♂️

Nice! Did you ever get into tricking? I discovered Capoeira through tricking (since it incorporates Capoeira moves)

Oh I didn’t know there was overlap. My friend in elementary school taught me about capoeira but I never realized the whole cultural aspect of it, just thought it was fun. He moved and I just forgot about it.

My friend in HS wanted to teach me about tricking and I humored him for a bit. I don’t remember what we were doing but we collided and I rolled my ankle when I landed and fell right on my hip so that was the end of that lmaoo.

I might get back into it though. Could help my tight hips and hamstrings and weak core. Plus it just looks cool.

Oh yeah, tricking incorporates Capoeira moves, breakdancing moves, Taekwondo kicks, gymnastic tumbling. I'm way past my prime for doing it anymore though lol I stick to hiking and occasional workouts these days.

If you have the capability, I say go for it! It's exhilarating when you learn new moves

Parkour incorporates all of this

Bro, are you me? Used to do capoeira, then went into parkour then branched into tricking. Well now I'm almost 40 and my knees are shot but I still do a bit every now and then.

Hell yeah! To be clear, when I say I practiced Capoeira, I didn't take formal lessons or classes, I was self-taught on it and tricking. Just watched countless youtube videos and emulated the movements in my front yard

My body just won't let me do any of it anymore lol I never stretched when I use to trick bc dumb young me thought "I'm young, I don't need to stretch" and I'm paying for it now with back, hip, shoulder, and knee pain 😅 I recently tried just a spinning star kick from the ground and it was not happening lmao. No regrets though, had too much fun in my heyday
